Alberta Health Care provides coverage for eye examinations for those under age 19 and over 65.  This includes routine examinations, as well as additional prescription checks when needed, cataract follow-up care, glaucoma management, eye infection and injuries treatment, among other services.

Alberta Health Care also provides emergency and disease eye care coverage for patients aged 19 to 65.  So the next time you have a red eye or get something stuck in your eye, rest assured that you can get timely and accurate care at our office.

Prairie Vision Centre can also direct bill Alberta Blue Cross, Quickcard, Health Canada (Indian Affairs, RCMP, and Department of Veteran Affairs), Department of National Defence, and Alberta Programs such as AISH and the Child Health Benefit directly.
